Ode to the peace within

I realise again.

Peace I find within.

Not in anything or anyone.

Not in getting something done.

Not in someone’s love and attention.

Not in anything external I could mention.

So I go within. Not even to find.

But to be. With each thought, each feeling turning into perfectly lined up pearls in the web of my mind. Before gently evaporating under the sun of pure presence.
